My obsession: scrapbooking

I love to scrapbook. I mean, I LOVE it. I like to see others layouts, like to read the scrapping magazines, love to shop for supplies and love to create my layouts. Hopefully I can scan some of my layouts to post on here, but for now I'll post some of my favorite scrapping sites.

Two Peas in a Bucket: love the forums, but the shopping...

Creating Keepsakes: my favorite scrapping mag (I'm also a CKU alumni!)

Basic Grey: my current favorite paper line

Making Memories: LOVE almost all their products!

What a great anniversary present!

Well, this was just a loner for the day but it was a blast to drive! Both Brad and I agree that a convertible would be a great future addition to our "fleet." ("The future" is defined as a period of time after the kids are out of college- and that's a very long time from now!) I think we'll be going with a more brighter color: lime green, electric blue, or fuschia maybe? The yellow just wasn't bright enough for us.

This is our Explorer. We traded in our Expedition for something newer and better on gas. We had been looking for another car and it just so happened that we signed the papers on our anniversary. There are times that I miss the Expedition (like when we're loading our luggage for a trip) but I don't miss having to park in the back 40. Maybe I can get Brad to sign papers on a (bigger) house on our next anniversary!

Day trippin'

We took a day trip to The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, IL. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and learned quite a bit about the sixteenth president!

Haley with the young Abraham Lincoln
The Lincoln family posed outside of the entrance to "The White House Years" of the museum.

A penny (heads side up, of course) is embedded in the very center of the museum floor.
Haley tried to pick up the embedded penny without much luck.
